Hello, there, and welcome to the Marketing 101 for Small Business Owners podcast. I am your host Philippa Channer and today I have a short announcement to make. While I am on vacation with my family I decided to take a few moments to share about a workshop I have been planning.
Lately, I have spoken to several groups about how to avoid marketing burnout by planning your content ahead of time and not drowning in the sea of never-ending marketing needs. Each time I shared this topic, I received great feedback and appreciation. So much so that I realized that everyone could really benefit from me diving deeper into this topic and sharing more.
That is what inspired me to create this Content Marketing Strategy Workshop. It will be an in-person half-day workshop here in Gaithersburg, Maryland happening on Wednesday, August 17 starting at 9 am. Together we will spend some time on four different key parts of content planning.
- How to pick your content topics for up to six months for your business
- Explore different types of content creation and which are best for your business
- How to schedule out your content to allow for maximum exposure to your audience
- The best ways to distribute your content and get it into the hands of those that need it the most
The workshop will give you the skills to plan your content 3-to-6 months in advance. It will teach you how to create a content marketing strategy that is aligned with your business objectives and aligns with your organization’s goals.
